Special Cell for Solid Waste Management
Constitution of Special Cell for implementation of Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026 at Uttar Dinajpur District.
In Exercise of the direction vide Memo No. 11011(15)/6/2026/2117 dated 31.08.2029 of the Additional Chief Secretary to the Govt. of West Bengal, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs Department and pursuance of directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No. 6174 of 2023 and Gazette Notification Number: CG-DL-E-18052026-272666 dated 18.05.2026, for the effective implementation and monitoring of the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026. The office of District Magistrate and Collector Uttar Dianjpur has been constituted a special Cell committee for Solid Waste management.
